# Salvation in

for our world? >>> + We read of disciples' **faith** + rapid **growth** of early church + many **miracles** and wonders + **fearless** amid persecution + Was that only for **then**? + Will we today have **boldness** to + **tell** others who Jesus is + even if it causes **offense** + because only **one** way to be saved --- But you will receive **power**
when the **Holy Spirit** has come upon you;
and you will be my **witnesses** in **Jerusalem** [(ch2-7)](# "ref"),
and in all **Judea and Samaria** [(ch8-11)](# "ref"),
and to the **end of the earth** [(ch12-28)](# "ref"). **standing** beside them,

or why do you **stare** at us, as though by our own **power** or **piety**

and perceived that they were

they were astonished. And they recognized that

to **speak** your word with all **boldness**, while you stretch out your hand to **heal**,
and **signs** and wonders are performed
through the **name** of
